Connect Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and FSX to FltPlan Go

Flight Simulator 2020: FltPlan Go does not currently support the new SimConnect and requires the old SimConnect that is located in the FltPlan Go GPS SDK for connectivity.

Installing FltPlan Go GPS for FSX:

  1. Locate the Windows computer you have Flight Simulator installed on.
  2. Download the FltPlan Go GPS by clicking here.
  3. When the program has finished downloading, run and install the "Setup.msi" and follow the on-screen instructions.

Connecting to FltPlan Go:

  1. Open FltPlan Go on your iPhone, iPad, or Android
  2. Go to the External section.
  3. Scroll down to the Simulators section.
  4. Click on "FSX & Prepar3D."
  5. Open Flight Simulator
  6. Open FltPlan Go GPS and select "Connect."

Troubleshooting

Steam Users

If FltPlan Go GPS does not start, run "SimConnect.msi" in the "SDK" folder where FltPlan Go GPS has been installed.

Mobile Devices

If you're not receiving any GPS updates on your mobile device using FltPlan Go, verify that you're on the same network as the computer running Flight Simulator.

Windows Desktop

If you're not receiving any GPS updates on FltPlan Go, close FltPlan Go GPS and run it as administrator. Firewalls and Anti-virus software can interrupt the connection. Please disable.
