What is Flight Tracking?
Flight Tracking is real time information made available from the Air Traffic Control system. The information made available is:
Departure and Arrival airports.
Type Aircraft.
Actual departure time or proposed departure time if aircraft has not departed yet.
Actual Arrival time or estimated arrival time if the aircraft hasn't landed yet.
If airborne, the aircraft's altitude.
If airborne, the aircraft's groundspeed.
Also available is a graphical representation of the aircraft in flight. The picture shows:
Aircraft's position.
Planned route of flight.
Weather radar overlay.
The Flight Tracking page will also show ( if used in conjunction with your FltPlan.com schedule ):
Departure Weather (if flight has not departed yet) and Destination weather.
PIC information.
Persons on board.
Planned Alternate Airport.
What does the Flight Tracking Page look like?

Can you track international flights using FltPlan.com's Flight Tracking.
Yes. As long as the flight is departing or arriving the U.S. or Canada, you can track the flight.
What do you mean by "integrated with your flight schedule"?
Flights will be easily selectable based upon your different flight legs. This will make it easy for Dispatchers, Chief Pilots, Wives, etc. to pin point where you are and compare it with your planned itinerary.
"Dispatcher Version". You can also include other FltPlan.com Tracking users (with their consent) to your list of trackable flights. This is ideal for Flight Departments that have multiple pilots using FltPlan.com. One page will have the combined listing of all the trackable flights of the different Pilots. Dispatchers/ AV Managers/ Chief Pilots/Fellow Pilots will be able to easily check on the progress of everybody on the "Dispatcher's List"
You can also select an "N" Number for tracking even if it is not on your list of flight legs.
How much does it cost?

All Plans allow tracking of your blocked tail number at no extra charge.
Does it cost extra to track my Blocked Tail Number?
No. There is no extra charge for tracking your aircraft that has a blocked tail number. FltPlan.com encourages business aircraft owners to block their tail numbers, and therefore does not charge extra.
How can I order Flight Tracking?
You can call our special Flight Tracking order line at 1-800-FLTPLAN. When ordering, please have available your:
Username. This would be the registered user that can access the Tracking info. Flight Departments might want to start a New Registered User Account that all the Pilots can have access to.
Credit Card information. We accept Master Card, Visa, American Express.
There is a one month minimum charge for any new orders.
How will I be billed?
We will accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express over the phone. For your security, we do not process Credit Card Information over the Internet. FltPlan.com offers the convenience of Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual or Yearly Billing.
